Texas Legends

He now runs a sheep ranch in Central Texas. He began working at 11 years of age helping his family after his father’s death. He served in the Navy on the USS Lexington. He has been a carpenter, a salesman, a mural painter, a security guard, and a bank guard. He worked in the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department as a patrolman and special officer. Jim is a man of many interests - he sang in the school choir as well as played flute, cornet, guitar, and harmonica. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, and camping. He loves to sing hymns and country songs. He is a freelance artist, photographer, and writer with a special interest in legends, history, and yarns he has picked up along the Texas Trails.
